Logo, branding and merchandise for Tomato Industrial Museum, an old tomato factory used to operate in the 20th century in Santorini island.
The Tomato Industrial Museum is a multi-purpose exhibition and cultural space at the waterfront of Vlychada beach in Santorini island, Greece. The museum occupies the former tomato factory D.Nomikos, a historic plant opened in 1945, the first to produce tomato paste with industrial means on the island. Nowadays the old Factory has turned into a modern industrial museum to offer its guests a flashback in processing and production of Santorini’s famous hydrated cherry tomato, while at the same time acts as exhibition area hosting workshops and cultural festivals during the summer era.
We designed a logo inspired by the shape of a tomato combined with the smokestack of the factory. We choose red & grey color combination to make it more strong and meaningful.
Based on the logo we designed the entire corporate identity, together with all the print and digital material for the promotional needs of the museum. Furthermore a big variety of merchandise products visitors can find at the shop of Tomato Museum.
Logo design distinction at EBGE awards.
