Visual identity, poster, flyer & banner design for Removement Athens 2017: Arcades, a month-long project that takes place across three historical arcades in the center of Athens.
Removement Athens 2017: Arcades takes place over a month in three historical arcades, including performances, visual interventions and exhibitions. The central concept is to revive the historical center of Athens, specifically the Praxitelous, Arsaki and Kairi arcades, based on the stories of the people who lived and worked there.
Inspired by the different shape and structure of each arcade, we created three different identities based on their architecture. We captured their distinct characters with minimal illustrations, assigning a color code to each arcade, and then used the corresponding visual language on the banners, outdoor signage and the foldable flyer we created for the project.
