New visual identity, logo, poster, flyer & banner design for the 8th Athens Video Dance Project (AVDP), a festival taking place in the Theater of Athens School of Fine Arts, in Athens, Greece.
AVDP is an international platform of multilayer activities that enhances not only the free – creative expression and tolerance through a dialogue of different artistic tools, but also the education and activation of the local and international videodance community. Each year, it accommodates works from all over the world, offering space to ideas that go beyond the limits of stage, cross over to the cinema screen.
Wanted to create a static image giving the impress of motion, we created the number “8” with a time-lapse photo shooting from a dancer’s choreography. We focused on the number 8, because the festival is taking place for the 8th year.
With big heading typography and a duotone communication, we created a strong recognisable identity.
